The Appel Salon: A literary and cultural commons

More than just an event venue, The Appel Salon is a premiere public space for civic discourse and community engagement. It is a place where Torontonians can freely participate in accessible, eclectic, and compelling cultural programming.

Since 2009, the Appel Salon has welcomed a who's who line-up, including Blue Jay owner Paul Beeston, authors Geraldine Brooks, Austin Clarke, Tim Flannery, Donna Leon, Henning Mankell, Anita Shreve, Alexander McCall Smith, Jeanette Winterson, and many others.
