About Toronto Reference Library
Iconic, vital, a national treasure
When your guests step inside Toronto Reference Library, they are greeted by a grand sweeping atrium.
This iconic Raymond Moriyama-designed building is the only public Reference Library in Canada. It offers extensive resources and comprehensive collections.
The Reference Library is a destination where people connect with each other, with historical and literary collections, and with programs featuring Canada’s finest writers, artists and thinkers.
The Appel Salon: A literary and cultural commons
